News: Xbox announces Kinect release date and pricing
Xbox has finally released news that the long-awaited Kinect motion conroller – previously known as Project Natal – will be released on November 4. The release date appears to be international, and the device will be available either as standalone unit or as part of an Xbox 360 bundle.
Kinect will allow Xbox users to control onscreen avatars hands-free, and will come with Kinect Adventures, a starter games bundle featuring a ball-bouncing block-busting game, a rafting game and a minikart game. Fifteen titles will also be available upon release.
Kinect is compatible with all Xbox 360 models and will retail for $229 as a standalone unit, or you can buy a bundle for $499 that includes Kinect, Kinect Adventures, and a 4GB Xbox 360 console.
