Vodafone has launched the first ever dedicated fan mobi-site in New Zealand – Vodafone One Tribe; the official supporters club of the Vodafone Warriors.

Vodafone General Manager of New Media and Internet, Kursten Shalfoon, said the Vodafone One Tribe mobi-site is just another example of Vodafone providing innovative and engaging content for its customers.

“Vodafone is extremely excited about the numerous possibilities available within mobile marketing. We’re also very proud to be able offer the Vodafone Warriors’ fans an easy way to stay connected with their favourite rugby league team – wherever they are.”

The players are said to be “thrilled” that fans have another way to get involved and show their support.

Customers simply visit http://onetribe.mobi or TXT mobi to 499 to receive the link directly to their mobiles.

For up to just $1 a day on the days you use it, with a daily allowance of 10MB, Vodafone Warriors’ supporters can browse the One Tribe mobi site easily and inexpensively for:

  • latest results
  • games schedule
  • live commentary
  • match stats
  • latest NRL news
  • mobile downloads
  • player of the day competition
