News: Telecom launches XT mobile music store

Telecom’s new mobile music store for XT network users makes available 3.2 million songs.

Paul Hamburger, Telecom’s Director of Mobile, says: “It’s faster to download direct to your mobile phone and because there are no data charges, more affordable to use than any other mobile music service offered currently in New Zealand.”

The Telecom Music Store is free to browse, and songs cost $1.99 each to download.

The music store home page has a local flavour, with Kiwi artists featuring heavily.

There’s also a ‘What’s Fresh’ zone, the record labels’ top picks of the latest new tracks, a list of Telecom’s top 20 downloads, as well as bios and photos.
