Auckland gets a new high-end hi-fi store this coming week with the opening of the first Strawberry Sound retail outlet in the North Island.
The hi-fi chain has four well-thought-of stores in the South Island, and its arrival in Auckland is highly anticipated by audio fans.
Strawberry Sound deals in top hi-fi and home theatre brands and has an enviable reputation for home installation.
Brands include Denon, Loewe, PSB, Tannoy, Sonus Faber, Living Voice, JM Reynaud, Plinius, Sugden, Yarland, Plinius, DNM, Eichmann, Tara Labs, Bose (sound-docks), Pro-ject, Tangent and more.
The store will be manned by the wonderfully named and highly respected Neil Young, and former Top Hifi man Brendan Davies-Patrick.
The opening function for those in the industry takes place on Wednesday evening.
