News: Sony Launches Top-of-the-Line VAIO

« Final Fantasy I and Final Fantasy II (iPhone + iPod touch) launch video | Darksiders Xbox 360 »

Sony has updated its line of VAIO computers, introducing the top-of-the-line VAIO Z, which uses the superfast Intel Core i7 processor . The Z series also employs (count-em) two graphics accelerators in the external NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M GPU and an internal Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD.

The workmanlike graphics configuration means users can do serious work (or serious gaming) on the Z’s Full HD screen, which increases the workspace of a 1600 x 9000 display by 1.5 times.

Its soundcard also includes a noise-cancellation system and there’s a built-in biometric fingerprint scanner if for some weird reason you want to feel like Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible.

The Sony VAIO Z Series will be available in black and ‘premium carbon’ from Sony stockists and Sony Style stores from March 2010 starting from an RRP of $3399.95
