News: Samsung’s Slim 3D LED
Apart from managing 23 Innovation Awards at this year’s International Consumer Electronics show and unveiling its own iteration of the eBook,Samsung has used the event in Las Vegas to showcase its new HDTV lineup, featuring a built-in 3D processor, the first of its kind.
The 9000 series of LED TVs, with screen sizes ranging from 19″ to 65″, claims to be the world’s slimmest LED, and features gizmos such as a touch-screen remote. However, the real innovation is the tellie’s ability to renders 2D content into 3D in real time via Samsung’s proprietary 3D processor technology.
The new range is expected to begin arriving in New Zealand in the first half of 2010.
