News: Samsung releases double-LCD camera

Samsung has unleashed a brace of camera innovations, including a double-LCD camera, and a wi-fi-capable compact camera.

The forthcoming ST550 and ST500 feature an extra 1.5-inch LCD screen next to the lens on front of the camera.

The extra screen allows those who want to take self-portraits to get a better idea of how they will look, and those being photographed get an easy preview of the shot as well.

The 3.5-inch LCD screen on the back is also a world-first: it’s the most hi-res screen of its type to date.

The ST1000 is also a world-first, being the first compact camera with built-in Bluetooth and wireless interconnectivity.
