News: NZ first country to get TiVo upgrades

New Zealand will get new TiVo product and features before any other country.
Launching in New Zealand on 6 November, the world’s most popular media device – which gives viewers recording control and playback choice – will debut its new broadband portal, CASPA On-Demand in NZ first.
CASPA On-Demand will allow the viewer to download new release movies, hit TV shows, music videos and concerts on a “pay-as-you-use” basis.
The NZ launch bundle, sold exclusively through Telecom from November 6, comprises a TiVo 320 Media Device and the Home Networking Package, which enables the customers to transfer TV recordings, from TiVo to PC or portable device, as well as view home movies, pictures and listen to their music on TV.
The launch bundle costs $920 and is on sale until 24 January, 2010.
