News: New Onkyo 7.1 Home Theatres Released
Yet another manufacturer has jumped on the 3D bandwagon, with Onkyo announcing the release of its two latest home-theatre-in-a-box kits, the HT-S6300 and HT-S7300, both complete with 3D compatibility plus several other nice little bonuses.
Apart from the obvious difference in speaker size, there’s not too much difference between the models. Both feature four 3D-ready HDMI 1.4a inputs, 1080p video upscaling, lossless Dolby and DTS HD audio, Dolby height processing, Audyssey automatic room equalisation, along with a 290-watt subwoofer, UP-A1 dock for iPod/iPhone and optional HD radio tuner.
Onkyo describes the HT-S6300 as its “quality on a budget” model, with six 30cm tall speakers along with the horizontal speaker. The HT-S7300, however, boasts 104cm tall standing speakers, four surrounds and the centre speaker/channel.
