News: Mega Drive Comes to iPhone

Sega are encouraging iPhone users to relive their youth, offering a selection of classic Mega Drive games over the mobile device. Due for release early next month, Sega Genesis Ultimate Collection is an emulator of the classic console, and comes free with one game, Space Harrier II.

And according to Gizmodo, four more titles will be introduced over the app store, including Golden Axe, Ecco the Dolphin, Shining Force and, of course, Sonic the Hedgehog.

Although some of these titles were previously available as standalones, the new Sega Genesis Ultimate Collection allows users to purchase games through the one application.
