News: Girly new range of netbooks released

The netbook phenomenon continues at pace with HP’s release of its new Mini-note range today.

In colours and designs predicated to appeal to the female of the gender (or men with an eye for nice design and pretty colours), the HP110 comes in three colours – Black Swirl, Pink Chic and White Swirl.

Small and light enough to slip in a purse, the latest Mini-notes have a 10.1-inch display and the now typical-for-netbook accent on ease of email, web-surfing, chat, music and photos.

The HP Mini 110 has twice the storage capacity of the previous model (160GB), three USB ports, and a five-in-one digital media slot.

Start price is $899. Black Swirl will be available from mid-June, while Pink Chic and White Swirl will hit the market mid-July.
