News: Flutter: The new Twitter?

Its seems that the Twitter craze is wearing thin. 140 characters is just too wordy, takes too much time and concentration for the ADHD and espresso obsessed micro-bloggers of now. Micro-blogging is not cutting it for the attention deficit generation of now. The “now” generation have taken it a step further, enter Flutter, the world’s first nanoblogging site.
The 140 characters has drastically been slashed to 26 (the same amount of characters in the alphabet).
CEO Zak Ryman says: “I think a lot of people don’t have time to Twitter. It just takes too long to compose a message with 140 characters, and then you start getting bombarded by a few tweets and it’s like hundreds of characters that you have to read.”
“We limit our users’ posts – or flaps, is what we like to call them, because it’s like a hummingbird’s wings flapping, which is like really fast, which is like, you know, faster than a regular bird tweets – we limit it to 26 characters.”
Twitterholics are now Flutterholics.
If you think that this is all just getting a little ridiculous for the world of now, you’re right, it is a joke courtesousy of the Flutter wanabes at Slate Video. See Zak Ryman’s video below.
