News: Canon IXUS updated

Along with its recent Powershot releases, Canon New Zealand has also updated its more affordable IXUS digital compact range, releasing the IXUS 200 IS and the IXUS 120 IS.
The IXUS 200 is the first Canon camera designed with a touch screen, a 3-inch LCD which delivers on menu navigation and also provides touch-activated auto focus. It also includes a 24mm wide angle lens with 5x optical zoom, and shoots HD video.
The slimmer, 12.1 megapixel IXUS 120 forgoes the touch screen, but comes in a 20mm body with 28mm lens. Despite its small size, it does feature HD video recording capabilities.
Both cameras will be available in September, although pricing is yet to be confirmed.
