News: Aperion Releases Wireless Audio

Many new home audio systems come with wireless capabilities, but if you’re looking to get an airlink in your home stereo without having to upgrade, Aperion Audio might have come up with a solution.

The new Home Audio Link (or HAL for short) connects via USB to a home computer, iPod, MP3 player to a stereo and claims to stream any audio format at a high quality.

The send and receive units come bundled with 2 USB power adapters, 2 stereo mini to RCA cables and one stereo mini cable.  It can also be connected straight into a powered subwoofer.

The little guy doesn’t even need a Wi-Fi network installed in the house, but transmits uncompressed digital audio up to 100 feet in the 2.4 GHz frequency band.
