CD reviews: Keith Urban Greatest Hits – Issue 67

It’s perhaps unfair to focus on his marriage to Nicole Kidman and the well-documented substance abuse problems, but it’s none the less true that such celebrity gossip is far more interesting than New Zealand-born Keith Urban’s music. That’s evident from this greatest hits package, which is filled with heartfelt but unremarkable, cliché-riddled songs performed in a bland, vaguely countrified manner. Still, he’ll always have the paparazzi pages, won’t he?
