Gadgetman: Upcoming review – HD HomeRun
I just picked up this item yesterday for review, and it looks like a very exciting product. It’s basically a small DVB-T tuner that only has an Ethernet port for output. It works by receiving the DVB-T signal and pushing out onto your LAN where software installed on a PC decodes it and displays it, just the same as if you had a DVB-T card in your PC. The big advantage is you can access it from any PC on the LAN, it even has dual tuners so you can watch different shows on different PC’s!
HD HomeRun is available in NZ from www.hdhomerun.co.nz
Look out for a full review in an upcoming issue of Tone, and of course don’t forget to buy the current issue!
