Brett Gideon: Deceased

Sad and desperate times are here. My utterly beloved and totally reliable (until now) Marantz CD6000OSE CD player has stopped reading CDs. On the first day of a four day long weekend, with not one but two new amplifiers to play with. Could the timing be any worse?

I’ve got two other CD players stashed away but I can’t get my hands on them until next week and running my MP3 players or laptop into the system just doesn’t sound the same, not even close. I suppose Wildash Audio (the NZ Marantz agents) will receive a frenzied call at 09h00 on Tuesday morning.

Humbug!
